In late June, a delegation from Singapore's Institute of Technical Education (ITE) visited Hong Kong for a three-day vocational education exchange with the VTC. As Singapore's leading vocational education institution, ITE is committed to providing career training for secondary school graduates and working professionals.
VTC specially arranged three alumni entrepreneurs to share their practical business experiences:
Mike - Founder of One2Cloud, a multi-cloud solutions company, and Lookcard, a cryptocurrency credit card platform.
Oliver & Herry - Co-founders of Dosha Woodcraft, a local eco-social enterprise focused on upcycling reclaimed wood.
During the sharing, these young entrepreneurs discussed how they transformed their vocational training into entrepreneurial ventures, engaging with ITE representatives on the essential skills required in the digital economy era. Dosha Woodcraft presented the ITE delegation with handcrafted commemorative shelves made from reclaimed wood, symbolizing the concept of sustainable development.
This exchange not only strengthened vocational education collaboration between the two regions but also opened new avenues for nurturing talent essential to future industries. VTC remains committed to working with international partners to drive innovation in vocational education.
