Giving Back to Alma Mater: Alumnus Terence Ng Sponsored IVE (Haking Wong) Basketball Team Exchange Programme

Mr. Terence Ng, VTC Outstanding Alumni cum Executive Chairman of the Twinklestars Programme (摘星計劃), has generously invited and sponsored the IVE (Haking Wong) Basketball Team to participate in the "16th Meizhou-Hong Kong Twinklestars Programme Launch Ceremony and 2025 Meizhou-Hong Kong Youth Exchange Tour." The team embarked on a three-day exchange and learning journey from 8-10 Aug. This event was not only a platform for sports exchange, but also effectively promoted interaction among young people from both regions, encouraged cultural exploration, and broadened horizons.

Alumnus Terence Ng emphasized that education plays a vital role in the growth of young people. He hopes to inspire more Hong Kong youth to pursue their dreams, strengthen their sense of belonging and responsibility to society, and encourage them to transform the care and support they have received from sponsors and the community into motivation. With a grateful heart, he urges them to actively give back to society after completing their studies.

Terence Ng, who has always been deeply connected to his alma mater, not only arranged cross-regional learning experiences for IVE (Haking Wong) students, but has also set an outstanding example of gratitude, giving back, and social responsibility for VTC alumni.
