Alistair Harvey Foundation Scholarship Another Cohort of Scholars Embark on Their Transformative VPET Journey

On 22 August, the annual Welcoming Gathering for the new cohort of the Alistair Harvey Foundation Scholarship Scholars was held, bringing together over 40 new & past scholars, Mr John RUDDY, the Trust Protector of the Alistair Harvey Foundation, and staff of VTC.

The event featured an online address delivered by Mr RUDDY who joined remotely from the UK, strengthening the bond between the donor and the Scholars. Mr RUDDY congratulated the scholars and acknowledged the significant contributions towards advancing education opportunities for the VTC students. Ms Winnie NGAN, Director of the Institutional Advancement Office, conveyed heartfelt appreciation for the unwavering support of the Foundation over the years and encouraged the AHFS Scholars to seize this opportunity and transform their aspirations into remarkable achievements.

Since its inception in 2004, the Alistair Harvey Foundation Scholarship has remained dedicated to empowering VTC students in science and technology. By providing full sponsorships for bachelor’s or master’s degrees and opportunities for academic exchanges in the UK, the Scholarships are equipped to thrive in their respective fields along the VPET pathway.

New round of applications will open soon. VTC looks forward any eligible alumni with suitable calibre and disposition to join the number.
