"From childhood to adulthood, my favorite word has always been 'play'!" Some may believe that indulging in play can lead to neglecting one's aspirations, but Norman has personally demonstrated that playing seriously can lead to a successful career.
After graduating from VTC, Norman worked as a toy designer for many years. When he started his own family, he gradually realized that toys could be a bridge for parent-child communication and could inspire his sons' creativity. For example, recycling household waste such as ropes, belts, and shoe boxes can be transformed into unique toy car parking lots. As his creations grew, Norman decided to create a social media page named " STEMHOMEHK " to share his parent-child moments online in a diary format.
This "diary" attracted many parents seeking advice and even sharing their own experiences, developing into a community of "eco-parents." As a result, Norman had the opportunity to collaborate with various environmental organizations and social welfare institutions to promote eco-friendly design concepts.
In recent years, he has kept up with the times, designing STEM courses that allow students to learn programming through play, cultivating computational thinking. Learning new knowledge should be a joyful experience, and Norman hopes to continue promoting the concept of learning through play to foster positive and optimistic growth in children.
