VTC Graduates (applicable to the graduates of degree or higher diploma awards from 2022 onwards) can now use the Academic Certificate Verification Platform (ACVP) https://acvp.hk to share their credentials to potential employers or further study institutions via QR codes, URL, or pdf files downloaded from the platform. Using ACVP, these third parties can verify the credentials on the platform direct and with no turnaround time.
What is Academic Certificate Verification Platform (ACVP)?
a common and trusted platform to verify academic certificates issued by higher education institutions in Hong Kong through using blockchain technology
implemented and operated by the Joint Universities Computer Centre (JUCC) (https://www.jucc.edu.hk/)
streamlines the process of verifying qualifications and related academic records issued by adopted institutions
enhances efficiency, convenience, and security for their graduates to have control on sharing their credentials
enables employers and further study institutions to verify and access the qualifications from a trusted platform directly upon the graduates’ authorization
For Alumni
Step 1. Activate your VTC alumni portal account
Click here to fill in the required information, tick the desired agreement and complete the activation process. For details, please refer to the Account Activation Guide or contact Alumni Relations Section.
Step 2. Give consents to ACVP
Login to ACVP Student Portal with your alumni portal account, complete the onboarding process and give consent to ACVP.
Step 3. Share your credentials to employers or institutions
Create sharelinks/ QR Code and share to employers or institutions. They can verify your credentials via the verification platform.
For Employers, Employment Agencies and Educational Institutions (Verifiers)
Click on the associated sharelinks URL or scan the QR Code which links directly to the verification page; or
Upload or drag-and-drop the PDF file to the verification platform at https://acvp.hk
The platform will then respond with the verification result promptly. After successful verification, an authenticated copy of the certification can be viewed or downloaded in PDF format (applicable if it is set as downloadable by the graduate concerned).
The authentic and verifiable electronic document from VTC exists only in PDF format or the associated sharelinks URL/ QR code. Electronic documents in any other formats (such as DOC, JPG or HTML) will NOT be verified.

Who are eligible to use ACVP platform?
If you are a VTC graduate who obtained a degree / higher diploma award in or after 2022, you are eligible to use the ACVP platform with your alumni portal account to access your credentials. Please stay tuned for our latest arrangement.
Do I need a VTC alumni account before using ACVP?
Yes, you are required to activate your VTC alumni portal account and give consent to ACVP before using the ACVP Platform. For Alumni portal account enquires, please visit the VTC Alumni Website or contact Alumni Relations Section at 2836-1095 or email: alumni@vtc.edu.hk
Why can't I find any credentials on ACVP?
Generally, your credentials will be available after three working days we obtained your consent on ACVP. For THEi graduates, please contact THEi Registry at 3890-8000 or email: thei-reg@thei.edu.hkif you cannot find the credentials after the required processing time.
