VTC Alumni Making a Difference - Healthy Wong: Social Enterprise Pioneer with a Creative Mindset I

Regular physical exercises benefit one’s health. Alumnus Healthy Wong goes one step further by founding Foodsport, a social enterprise. They combine sports with food donation, and confer benefits to the society with a creative mindset.

Healthy was graduated from HD in Sports Management and Training Science at IVE, and BSc (Hons) Sport Business Management at SHAPE. He then worked for a sports club to promote cricket to the public.

After accumulated certain experience on marketing, Healthy decided to found Foodsport. They held several activities that the participants would do sports, and at the same time converted the calories burnt into food of the same calories. And the food would be donated to the disadvantaged in Hong Kong and around the world. In recent years, they had the chance to cooperate with global sports brands to organise large-scale activities. The enterprise has already helped more than 50,000 beneficiaries globally.
